HAND in HAND’s game plan heading into the 2007 season is that in order to win on the field, we also need to win off the field. We are fully committed to expand the reach of our Helping HAND. We’ve already participated in five very rewarding fundraising events this year and are looking forward to the many that lie ahead throughout the rest of the season. During the opening stretch of our schedule, we’ve teamed up with the Jewish Family & Children’s Services (JFCS) for their Émigré Community Gala and FAMMY Awards Gala, the Junior League of San Francisco’s Postcards from the City, the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s (MDA) Black and Blue Ball and of course, the San Francisco Giants’ Play Ball Lunch. HAND in HAND made generous donations at each event to help these important organizations achieve their fundraising goals.
Next on deck for HAND in HAND are the Oakland A's 2007 Community Fund Golf Classic on May 31, and the San Francisco Giants Community Golf outing on July 23. Proceeds from these fantastic events go towards improving the quality of life for underprivileged people throughout the Bay Area including providing educational programs, financial aid, crime and drug prevention assistance, promoting health awareness and championing children and senior welfare. HAND in HAND strongly believes in having a positive impact on the communities where we live and work and are committed to always give back. This commitment includes providing financial support, material donations and volunteering our time. Check out the latest custom engagement ring that was just delivered to our client. The client was so happy with the ring, he was literally speechless! The center stone alone is so stunning it made our jaws drop and we secretly wanted to keep the stone!
The custom designed woman’s “Together Space” engagement ring is made of Platinum and is inspired by the Khalil Gibran poem about marriage. It describes how the Oak & Cypress tree, “grow not in each other’s shadows” and “to let there be spaces in your togetherness”.
Thus, this one-of-a-kind design features an off-set, asymmetrically placed Oak leaf made of one hundred fourteen (114) 0.005 cts., Ideal Cut diamonds of D-F color, VS clarity and 0.57cts. that surround and provide the perfect backdrop for the exquisite center stone diamond, a breath-taking Ideal Cut diamond of 1.61 cts., G color and VS1 clarity. On the opposite side and also positioned asymmetrically, there is a HAND engraved Cypress branch to complete the story of this most meaningful design.
The clients’ birthstones are set on the inside of the ring for additional special meaning.
The piece boasts 2.25 cts. total weight, which includes aquamarine, emerald and diamonds!

We are thrilled to be participating in three different silent auctions in March including the Jewish Family and Children's Services FAMMY Awards Gala on Saturday, March 24 & that same evening we will also participate in the Junior League of San Francisco's 81st Annual Fashion Show, Postcards From the City. Then, on Saturday, March 30, HAND in HAND will be a part of the silent auction for the MDA The Bash: The Black & Blue Ball.

This ring was inspired by the ancient Chinese character for double happiness - two 8’s. Thus, the number 8 is revered as having the power to bring good fortune. As a result, the “Lucky Love” engagement ring has a very unique, contoured shape like a number 8.
This ring was inspired by the clients’ shared loved of nature. As a result, this design was derived from the amazing beauty and strength of a giant Redwood tree combined with the power, energy, passion and emotion of a volcano that’s about to erupt.
